How to Install Foam Tiles

Pick a starting point to begin your installation. Many customers like to start in a cormer and spread out from there.

Lay your soft tiles down and lock them together. The tiles interlock together similar to a puzzle, only you will never have to guess where each piece goes since the locks are the same on each side of each foam tile.

If installing the tiles wall to wall so as to completely fill a room, some cutting may be required. This is easily done with a utility knife and a straight edge such as a ruler or yard stick.

Once your desired area is covered, that’s it. You’re all done and congratulations on completing your foam flooring installation. It’s that easy!

Whether you are interested in making a checker pattern, adding separate border colors, or have any other design in mind, the flooring designer will help you do that and order the correct amount.

Material – Soft wood tiles are constructed of closed cell high density foam that helps ensure they are water proof, odor free, light weight yet durable and insulating.

Maintenance

3/8” thick soft wood tiles can be maintained just like your wood flooring at home.

The recommended cleaning instructions typically include sweeping the tiles to remove any loose or dry dirt, crumbs, dust, or debris.

To clean harder stains or liquids off of the soft wood tiles, the tiles should be wiped off with a damp rag or temporarily lifted and cleaned under warm running water in a sink or bath tub.
